Arsenal keeper Lukasz Fabianski likely to leave - Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is likely to leave the club this summer.
The 28-year-old Poland international has made only 31 league appearances in seven seasons at Emirates Stadium.
He is out of contract at the end of the season and has turned down a new deal.
Wenger said: "Of course it is a possibility that it is his last campaign with us because he wants to play somewhere but if he changes his mind, my door is open."

Wayne Rooney: Man Utd striker signs new £300k-a-week deal.

Manchester United have confirmed that striker Wayne Rooney has signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract.
The 28-year-old England international has extended his current contract by four years in a deal worth up to £300,000 a week.
Rooney told his website:  "I'm happy everything is now finalised and I can carry on concentrating on my football."

Obama: Time to Give America a Raise.

U.S. President Barack Obama says restoring the idea of opportunity for everyone requires a year of action from every American, and 2014 is that year.

Obama said in his weekly address Saturday, his recent action included a new requirement that federal contractors paid their employees at least $10.10 an hour.

WHITE HOUSE — U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden rallied House Democrats on Friday, saying they need to be aggressive in pressing the Democratic Party agenda in the months leading to the U.S. mid-term congressional elections.

The president and Biden made their remarks in Cambridge, Maryland at the issues conference of Democrats in the House of Representatives.

It's an annual event at which lawmakers discuss legislative priorities and strategy, and often hear from the titular leader of their party, the president.

Study: Video Games Might Help People with Dyslexia.

WASHINGTON — Research suggests that action video games might help people with dyslexia,  a learning disorder that makes it difficult for some to read fluidly and comprehend what they read.

Experts say an estimated five to 10 percent of the population suffers from dyslexia, in which they write or perceive printed words and letters as backwards or transposed.

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas says he was "flattered" by Manchester United's interest last summer.
The 26-year-old was the subject of two close-season bids from Old Trafford but chose to stay at the Nou Camp.
"I do follow the Premier League a lot and it's always flattering when a club like Manchester United talks very well about you and you can see they want you," the Spaniard told Football Focus.

In Double Legal Trouble, Bieber Tests Positive for Pot, Meds.

TORONTO/MIAMI BEACH — Teen pop star Justin Bieber, facing charges in the United States and Canada, had pot and anti-anxiety medication in his system when arrested in Florida last week but told police his mother “takes care” of his prescriptions, according to official reports released Thursday.

Bieber was charged late on Wednesday with assaulting a limousine driver in Toronto and the Toronto Star newspaper reported Thursday that the driver in the alleged assault in December quit his job “in shock” following the incident.

'Popsicle' Mic Surprises Bruno Mars at Super Bowl Rehearsal.

NEW YORK — An early rehearsal for the Super Bowl halftime show at the outdoor stadium held some weather-related surprises for two-time Grammy Award-winning singer Bruno Mars.

“The microphone turns into a popsicle!” Mars said on Thursday at a press conference along with opera great Renee Fleming, who will sing the National Anthem before Sunday night's game.

“I'm grabbing the mic and it's frozen,” the Hawaii-born Mars told reporters, sporting his trademark bouffant. “There's stuff like that that we're taking into consideration. And getting some heaters.”

Thailand Elections End Amid Protests.

BANGKOK — Polls have closed in Thailand's tense national elections in which anti-government protesters forced the closure of hundreds of polling stations in the capital, Bangkok.

Voters have braved intimidation and threats of violence to participate in nationwide elections. Protesters forced elections to be canceled in nine of Thailand's 76 provinces and four of Bangkok's 50 districts, but most polling stations were able to open.

Charlie Adam put the hosts ahead with a deflected free-kick and scored a superb winner after Robin van Persie levelled.
"I don't know what we have to do to win," Moyes said after the game. "I thought we were extremely unlucky.
