Timberlake has been having an immensely successful return to music this year after a seven year hiatus.
The 20/20 Experience sold nearly 1 million copies in its first week of sales earlier in the year and has continued on to double platinum status in the U.S. alone.
According to officialcharts.com Timberlake currently has the 6th highest selling album of the year and the 5th highest selling single with “Mirrors.”
The first single off of the new album “Take Back the Night,” which was produced by Timbaland, was released a little over a month ago.
The song has been flirting comfortably with the Billboard top 40, despite some controversy with an anti-rape organization that shares the same name as the song.
Jay-Z will be appearing on the new album as well, in addition to being featured on the hit single “Suit & Tie.”
Timberlake also had a guest spot on Jay-Z’s new album and the single “Holy Grail” is currently one of the top ten singles in the country.
Drake has also been confirmed to be making a guest appearance on the new record.
The album is scheduled to be released on September 3oth followed by a world wide tour kicking off on October 31st.
