Smartwatch Competition Apple iWatch vs. TrueSmart

Apple is synonymous with Steve Jobs, or at least it was. The public remains leery about the direction the prestigious company will go long term. As the public mourns the death of a visionary the company he founded still holds the keys to his mind.  If only. They do however have one of the last unfinished last projects of personal passion by Jobs, in the form of  Apple iWatch, or smartwatch. Of course Apple isn’t the only one working on the project and “using” the IP (Intellectual Property in this sense) of Apple and Jobs is not a new concept either. Samsung and Pebble both have smartwatch designs, and now there’s more serious competition. A New York based company, Omate, has come up with TrueSmart, which claims to already be the next gen of smartwatches.
Apple has neither confirmed or denied that the iWatch is in development or at what stage but photos were released on Mashable of a sleek prototype design that has the iconic Apple-esc motif. The mock-up by Ciccarese Design comes in both black and white versions with collaboration with Nike’s fitness consultant Jay Blahnik. Without further ado…check it out!Aople iwatch
