2013 BET Awards Menswear Round Up.

Fashionable (and fearless) femmes kept the red-carpet hot at the 2013 BET Awards, hosted last night at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California. But, amid the sparkle and the skin, the guys brought their own brand of flash.

Pharrell Williams: The rapper didn’t blur any lines with his straight-laced style, cleaning up in a charcoal-grey Lanvin look that featured a shrunken blazer worn over a black-and-white chequerboard shirt and festooned with a perky bow tie. Yes, the rolled and tapered pant legs could have been better tailored, but with his cocky cool-kid shades, Pharrell could pull off almost anything.

Miguel: The best male R&B pop artist winner swooped onto the red carpet flaunting a trendster McQ Alexander McQueen monochromatic ensemble. His swallow-print McQ shirt was slightly Hitchcock-ian. But he tamed the chaotic birds by tucking them into skinny black jeans, all topped off with a quiff and studded lace-up shoes.

Justin Timberlake: JT took a sleek, all-black approach for his star-studded stage time with Pharrell and Snoop Dogg, as the song-and-dance man worked a textured Tom Ford suit and satin bow-tie paired with Christian Louboutin ‘New Orleans Flat’ black patent leather lace-up dress shoes.
